COMPETITION RULES
- Race Format and Awards
- This event uses wave starts. All participants must start according to their assigned start time. Runners who fail to finish within the time limit, or who reach the finish line without an official bib number or checkpoint token/mark, will not be ranked, recorded, or eligible for a finisher medal or electronic certificate.
- During the registration period, runners who wish to change their race category must obtain a refund and re-register, provided there are still available spots in your category. Any runner who voluntarily switches to a shorter distance during the event will not receive an official result, will not be ranked, and will not receive a result certificate.
- This race awards to the top five finishers in the overall rankings for the "18K RUSH" and "10K SWIFT " categories, regardless of age, in both the men's and women's division. Each winner will receive a trophy.
- Clothing and Mandatory Equipment Guidelines
- As the course includes uneven and technical terrain, participants must wear appropriate sportswear and running shoes. Barefoot running or wearing non-running footwear (e.g., slippers) is strictly prohibited. Any violation will result in immediate disqualification.
- All mandatory equipment must be carried by the runner throughout the entire race. Race staff may conduct random gear checks at aid stations or along the course. Participants who fail to meet the gear requirements may be disqualified for safety reasons.
- Bib numbers must be clearly displayed on the front of the body and must not be covered. Lost bibs will not be reissued. Runners without a bib at the start will not be allowed to race.
- Course Safety & Other Regulations
- Trail running involves a certain level of difficulty. Participants should carefully assess their health and fitness before racing. If you feel unwell during the event, please stop, rest, or withdraw immediately.
- Drinking water is available at all aid stations. Due to terrain and elevation changes, GPS watch distances may differ from official measurements. For safety, runners must refill their bottles or hydration packs before leaving each aid station.
- Littering on the course is strictly prohibited. All trash must be carried to the next aid station for disposal. Violators may be disqualified.
- Bib transfers and substitute running are strictly prohibited. If confirmed, both parties will be disqualified. Any medical, rescue, insurance, or legal issues resulting from unauthorized transfers will be the sole responsibility of the individuals involved.
- Anyone without an official bib will be considered a pacer/unauthorized runner. Race staff may require them to leave the course. They are not allowed to enter restricted areas such as aid stations, start/finish zones, or other controlled areas.
- By registering for this event, participants agree that the organizer and authorized partners may use event-related photos, videos, and results of the participant worldwide, free of charge, for publication, broadcasting, display, promotional use, or sales. Participants also agree to assign any related claims and legal rights arising from third-party infringement of such image rights to the organizer and its authorized partners, without further written consent.

REPORTING TO EVENT
- Submit documents of identification or passport when reporting.
- Due to mail considerations, the organizer will delivery participants pack for foreign participants to the reporting site on Sept. 5th; foreign participants must claim items using passports before race day.
- Participants from Taiwan (or foreign with Taiwan mailing addresses) will have all items mailed to their mailing address since Agu. 14th. Participants must bring these items to the event site and sign documents regulated by the event along with the inspection of all equipment.
- This event will not accept representatives for claiming items or reporting to the event.
OTHER REGULATION & RULES
- This event has insured public accident liability insurance. Foreign participants and those who require additional insurance should seek insurance with a provider. Participants should consider their personal ability as this event is highly streneous; if additional burden is caused to the organizer due to parcicipants personal reasons, the organizer may seek compensation from the participant. The digital disclaimer in the application form is legally binding; participants may not complete the application process without agreeing to this document.
- This event has a high degree of difficulty. Please evaluate with due diligence before submitting application and participate according to personal ability and health conditions. If you feel discomfort, do not force yourself; individuals with a history of heart disease, cardiovascular disease, or diabetes should not conceal their health status and are prohibited from participating. Race participants are liable for any accidents that occur; the organizer will hold no liability.
- The event will continue as usual unless in the event of natural disaster, uncontrollable factors, or if the organizer announces delay of event; if the event is delayed by natural disaster or other factors, the organizer will issue refunds after deducting processed or paid fees to all members who are unable to participate.
- The organizer reserves the right to change the contents of the event. The latest news about the event will be updated on the event website. The organizer may make amendments without prior notice for any unforeseen matters in the event above.
- The organizer reserves the right to publicize recordings, photographs, and race results around the world on websites and publications; participants must agree to allow their likeness and race results for use in promotional activities.
- The organizer will protect personal information and must provide notice of the following in accordance with clause 8 of the Personal Information Protection Act (“PIPA”):
According to the regulations of the Personal Information Protection Act, the governing facility authorizes the collection of the name, identification number, date of birth, address, gender, nationality, telephone number, e-mail, emergency contact and their address and telephone numbers of you and other parties for the specific scope of this purpose; the aforementioned personal information will only be used within the scope and period by the organizer in the hosting/co-hosting, and undertaking of the event. The personal information collected by the organizer will only be provided in digital or physical form to this company, contracted suppliers, or cooperating and appointed third parties. The organizer holds your personal information and in accordance to clause 3 of the Personal Information Protection Act, you reserve the following rights in the exercise of your personal information:
- Search or request to read your personal information.
- Submit request for a copy of your personal information.
- Request to supplement or correct your personal information.
- Request a cease to the collection, handling, or use of your personal information.
- Once the application deadline of this event has been exceeded, you may not change clothing size or change participants. If you would like to change size or address, please submit a request before the application deadline; claims will not be accepted after the application deadline, thank you for your cooperation.
- The event provides each participant with one opportunity to transfer participation qualification; please submit a request before the application deadline.
- Participants to this event are responsible for their own transportation and are liable for any inability to participate due to personal reasons.

【Drive】
- Roadside Parking on Section 2, Zhishan Road: Approximately 122 parking spaces for cars and motorcycles. 10-15 minutes walk to the venue, or approximately 5 minutes by bus to Zhishan Junior High School stop.
- National Palace Museum (Map Link): Approximately 200 parking spaces for cars and motorcycles. 10-15 minutes walk to the venue, or approximately 5 minutes by bus to Zhishan Junior High School stop.
(Friendly Reminder: Traffic is heavy around Waishuangxi and the National Palace Museum area on weekends, and parking spaces are limited. Please arrive early to avoid delays in registration!)
【Public Transportation】
Participants can take the MRT to a nearby station and then transfer to a bus to reach the venue directly:
- MRT Tamsui-Xinyi Line (Red Line) – Shilin Station: Exit from Exit 1 of Shilin Station and walk to the bus stop on Zhongzheng Road to transfer. Based on the bus route taken, the drop-off points and walking times are as follows:
- Direct to the venue (get off at "Zhishan Junior High School" stop): Take bus routes 255, Small 18, Small 19, etc., and get off at the venue.
- Nearby stop (get off at "National Palace Museum" stop): Take bus routes 304, 815, etc., and after getting off, walk straight along Section 2 of Zhishan Road (towards Waishuangxi). It takes about 10-15 minutes to reach the venue.
- MRT Wenhu Line (Brown Line) - Dazhi Station: At Dazhi Station, you can transfer to bus route Brown 13 towards Waishuangxi/National Palace Museum and get off at "Zhishan Junior High School" stop.
