DAY 1 - ROUTE 45KM

Running up and up through the winding Tianshan roadway with dropping temperature during the rising altitude. The mountains are lofty and steep, being high up into the cloud. You can always see sheep wondering around the majestic mountain or some small household building up yurt on certain hills. Then, you’ll arrive at Tianshan temple, the top of Tianshan, along with all the magnificent views on the road. The verdant and lush pinewoods; verdurous grasslands; kitchen smoke rising in spirals are all taken in the whole scene at once.

DAY 2 - ROUTE 45KM

Going straight down along Tianshan roadway, at 2700m above sea level, here’s the only way to cross Tianshan since ancient times. Following the snaking roadway to Barkol Grasslands, you can see the continuous mountains stretching away to meet the sky. The pastures were almost reaped during the hustle and bustle of September. Here you can experience the passionate nomad culture with your untrammeled heart.

DAY 3 - ROUTE 21KM

In comparison to the endless look of Inner Mongolia grasslands, you can see the horizon of grasslands stretching away to meet the sky beside continuous summits. On the half way of the mountain, there are evergreen forests. While seeing all the magnificent views on the route, the ancient poetry "SONG OF THE CHI LE" suddenly occurs to me “Boundless, the Sky is so blue; The Wilderness seems boundless, too. Rippling through the pastures, north winds blow; The grass bends low, the cattle and sheep, to show.”, which is said to describe Barkol. Facing such beautiful scene, you’ll definitely be fascinating.
